What is Culture Fitness?
Culture Fitness is a coach-led functional fitness gym in Rohnert Park, California. Every class is a coached small-group workout built on strength, conditioning and core training. The gym opened in January 2025 and is built on three values: Strength, Health and Community.
How do I get started at Culture Fitness?
Book a free consultation at culturefitness.fit or call (707) 348-9647. It’s a one-hour, in-person visit: a tour of the gym, a conversation with a coach about your goals and starting point, and a free class so you can try it before you decide. There’s no obligation to join.
What is the class schedule?
Culture Fitness runs classes Monday through Friday at 5:00, 6:00, 6:45, 8:45 and 9:30 AM, and at 4:45, 5:30 and 6:15 PM. On Saturdays, Butts and Guts classes run at 7:00 and 8:00 AM, followed by Open Gym from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. The gym is closed on Sundays.
Is Culture Fitness a CrossFit gym?
No. Culture Fitness is not a CrossFit affiliate. Some movements overlap, like squats, deadlifts and conditioning workouts, but Culture Fitness focuses on coached, progressive strength training in an approachable setting. There’s no competition focus, and every workout is scaled to the person doing it.
How often should I come to class?
At Culture Fitness, beginners usually start with 2 to 4 classes a week and build toward 4 or 5 after the first few months, with rest days between sessions. Showing up consistently matters more than any single hard workout, and your coach will help you find the right frequency for your schedule and recovery.
Where is Culture Fitness located?
Culture Fitness is at 572 Martin Ave, Suite A, Rohnert Park, CA 94928, a few minutes off Highway 101. Members come from Rohnert Park, Cotati, Penngrove, Santa Rosa, Petaluma and Sebastopol. Call us at (707) 348-9647.
Do I need to be in shape to start?
No. You don’t need to be in shape to start at Culture Fitness. Every workout is scaled to your current fitness level, with lighter weights, fewer reps or simpler movement options. Many of our members started with no gym experience at all.
Is Culture Fitness good for beginners?
Yes. Culture Fitness is built for beginners as much as for experienced athletes. Coaches teach every movement, start you with weights that fit your level and progress you over time. Beginners usually start with 2 to 4 classes a week.
What does a typical class look like?
Every class at Culture Fitness starts with coached instruction and demonstration, then a strength or skill block such as squats, deadlifts, presses, or bodyweight skills. It finishes with the day’s conditioning workout, which usually runs 24ish minutes. A coach leads the whole class and scales each part to your level.
What makes Culture Fitness different from other gyms in Rohnert Park?
Every class at Culture Fitness is led by a coach, and workouts follow a planned strength program instead of a random workout of the day. Classes are small groups, so coaches learn your name, your goals and your injuries. Members also get InBody body-composition scans to track progress beyond the scale. If you win, we all win.
How long does it take to see results?
It depends on consistency. Most beginners at Culture Fitness feel stronger and notice more energy within the first month of coming 2 to 4 times a week. Visible changes in body composition usually take a few months of steady training plus attention to nutrition. InBody scans help you see progress before the mirror does.
